Friends of St Michael's History Group

The new season of talks starts on September 17th and we continue to meet then on the third Thursday of the month through to May 2027. The talks cover a wide range of subjects:

• September 17th 2026 - AGM followed by  A History of Creaton Post Office

• October 15th 2026 -  Northamptonshire Saints Rugby Club and Their  Heritage

• November 19th 2026  -  "For All Thy Saints” – Northamptonshire Saints -  Medieval Superheroes

• December 17th 2026 -  Stars of the D’Oyly Carte Opera Company

• January 21st 2027 -  Convalescing at Cottesbrooke Hall 

• February 18th 2027 -  The Battle of Naseby – how were the battalions  billeted and catered for?

• March 18th 2027 -  Conservation of the National Trust’s Libraries

• April 15th 2027 -  Creaton in 1921 – Secrets of the 1921 Census
