Thornby Annual Farm Walk

What a fabulous turn out for this year's walk ! Over fifty people enjoyed the walk across unknown fields.

Guided by Peter Moyes, Manager of Thornby Farms, a very informative walk learning about the crops, animals and local history of Thornby farm land. The tractor and trailer ride was greatly appreciated by children and those wanting a little respite. The sheep were very curious as we passed through their grazing fields.

After the walk which lasted just over two hours, hot home made refreshments and desserts were served at Thornby House. The walkers were very generous supporting the raffle & produce stall.

We would like to thank all that supported the event and those who donated raffle prizes and homemade desserts.
All proceeds are in aid of St Helens Church Thornby.

We look forward to welcoming you again in 2027 for this special annual event

Following the first car boot in September 2025, Thornby will be holding three this year.  All funds raised are in aid of St Helens Church. The first sale was held Sunday 19th, pitches offering equestrian equipment, bric a brac, plants, clothing, children's toys and more. Beautiful warm weather encouraged buyers to visit, buy and have a great social time catching up with friends and neighbours!
